LEARN NC

NC ECHO collaborated with The North Carolina Center for the Advancement of Teaching (NCCAT) and LEARN North Carolina (LEARN NC) to offer a series of seminars and workshops in which public school teachers and information specialists learn to incorporate the NC ECHO web portal and its resources into their curricula. Seminar participants are encouraged to create lesson plans utilizing NC ECHO's unique statewide directory of cultural institutions and their online primary resources. The resulting lesson plans are shared through the NC ECHO website and LEARN NC.

The daily schedule includes informational sessions, hands-on activities, and opportunities for reflection, reading, and networking with other educators from throughout the state. Teachers choose the seminars they would like to attend.
